Our Wood Vessels-
A fire retardant is applied to the outside of wood bowl vessels, and the interior is coated with a sealer/preserver by Earth Safe Finishes, which is safe, non-toxic, durable, and allows the bowl to be used for virtually anything when its candle life has ended.
The Wick-
We use cedar wood wicks for even burning, a consistent right-sized flame, and longer candle life. When lit, they create a beautiful crackling sound similar to that of a fireplace.
The Wax-
We pride ourselves in choosing only the best ingredients, so all our candles are hand-poured with only the purest 100% organic soy wax free from dyes, parabens, sulfates, & preservatives, so the color is natural ivory.
The Fragrances-
All of our creations feature scents that are 100% natural, include no phthalates or parabens or SLS or SLES, and have a tremendous scent throw thanks to the use of pure essential oils.
Optional Toppings-
We source the flowers and leaves adorning our candles from a variety of places, including just outside our own studio. While we generally opt for a natural, earthy aesthetic in our designs, there are instances where dyed flowers are used to achieve a certain look or to color match with your decor. Although rare, there's a chance the flower's color may bleed into the wax, potentially causing discoloration. This does not occur often and does not affect the quality and safety of your candle and is purely aesthetic.

We offer flat rate shipping at $12 and $2 for each additional item through USPS ground to all 54 states. Unfortunately, we are unable to process international orders at this time but are actively working on a shipping solutions.
If you need your item sooner, please elect USPS priority mail shipping and your order will automatically be bumped to the front of the line and shipped within 48 business hours of placing the order, excluding orders placed on weekends.

The wood vessel is made from authentic wood, and it is a hand-carved item so exact size, shape, dimensions, color, markings, & features can vary slightly. The wicks are obtained from quality sources but can also vary in exact size due to the nature of their material (cedar). All sizes are approximate and can vary slightly from stated dimensions.

**IF REQUESTING AN ITEM TO LOOK LIKE THE LISTING Please note that due to the handmade nature of this item it may not look identical to the photo. We will use exact colors and materials when possible to recreate a specific look. IF you opted to have your creation decorated with flowers & leaves, they should be removed prior to burning. They are decoration only and can be combustible.
**If you are requesting that your candle be decorated with specific flowers, leaves, herbs, etc. PLEASE message us before your purchase to ensure we have the exact topping you are looking for prior to making the purchase.
If you select to have your candle decorated with flowers & leaves but do not provide a preference in the description, our maker’s will top the candle with leaves and flowers of their choosing.
COLOR MATCHING: For decorated candles, we are happy to color match with your home's color scheme and decor style! Upon placing your order, please send an email to info@woodandwillowcandleco.com with a few photos of the space you plan to place your candle and the colors you'd like us to match to ensure your new candle is a seamless addition to your space.
OUR PROCESS:
The Vessel-
Hand-carved from and safety-checked. The outside is sprayed with a fire retardant, and the interior is coated with a sealer/preserver by Earth Safe Finishes, which is safe, non-toxic, durable, and allows the bowl to be used for virtually anything when its candle life has ended.
The wick-
We use wood wicks for even burning, a consistent right-sized flame, and longer candle life. When lit, they create a beautiful crackling sound similar to that of a fireplace. Wooden wicks are more sustainable than cotton wicks, as thousands of wicks can be found in a single tree. Trimming your wick to a 1/4" before each use can prolong the life of your candle by 25%!
The wax-

We offer free domestic shipping via USPS/UPS ground. Shipping upgrades are eligible at the buyer’s expense if you need your order to arrive sooner. If you pay for upgraded priority shipping, we will automatically bump your order to the front of the line and your candle will be made within 24 hours of placing the order.
